Don't know why but I still like to see 777 a lot.
Probably as 350 took its first flight this June, no passenger died from any 777 mishap since June95, 18 yrs ago.

Lol missed moon shot as a result of taking own sweet time shopping thinking everything is cancelled.

Think it's being prepare for a new livery without the pouncing tiger paint job.
Just an update since nobody posted it yet: Tiger Airways is now known as Tigerair (official media release from Tigerair newsroom).

Not anymore. 2 fatalities on Asiana Airlines (AAR) Flight OZ-214 from Incheon International Airport (RKSI) to San Francisco International Airport (KSFO).

Erkuan, have you tried photographing at 180巷, 濱江街 just before Runway (RWY 10) that has an almost non-existent perimeter fencing? A friend from Evergreen Aviation Technologies (EGAT) brought me there once but didn't yet have a camera back then.

Being several metres away from the blast pads, heavies literally roar right over your head on their short finals in, not to also mention the jet blast from heavies taking off just add another level of excitement to the experience. There's a nice embankment to stand on to, wish to go back again some day.

9V, from my spotting position i can see the location you mentioned. But it looks like a fence has put up there and that location was not mention by some of the local spotters. Another location where you can experience the jet blast is this place 25.070503,121.556436 , sadly I have no time to visit this spotting ground this time.

Generally figured that you might be at 中山, I guessed somewhere around the proximity of 吉林路 or 松江路?

Anyway was just looking up through Google Search, according to information gathered from this blog and from photos uploaded onto Airliners.net (ID No. 2277640, ID No. 2258055, ID No. 2258054). The blue garden picket fence along 180巷, 濱江街 seems to be still there earlier this year? Would be a real shame though if it is to be replaced with something else. On the the other hand, we have Changi Airport Group (CAG) erecting down a third layer of perimeter fencing, not too sure what the hell are they up to now.

Have you asked your Taiwanese plane spotter friends about those secret mountain runways at Hualien City yet? :bsmilie:

Going by the United Kingdom (UK) Air Accidents Investigation Branch (AAIB) press release pertaining to the incident involving Ethiopian Airlines (ETH) Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner "ET-AOP (MSN/LN: 34744/44)" at London Heathrow Airport (EGLL) on the 12th of July 2013, approximately 1550 Hours (UTC +0). We may be looking at a possible write-off of the first ever Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner just 628 days after its introduction into service unless Boeing is willing to undertake major structural as Airbus did for Qantas (QFA) Airbus A380-842 "VH-OQA (MSN: 14)" which almost Boeing will certainly do so for the sake of its reputation if they are to be held accountable and responsible for causing the fire in the course of the investigation.
