Official Plane Spotting Thread III

Had some time to clear the backlog and post-processed some older photos...

Singapore Airlines (SIA) Airbus A380-841
9V-SKG (MSN: 019)

Singapore Airlines (SIA) Airbus A340-541
9V-SGE (MSN: 563)

Empennage and dihedral angled wings of Airbus' two quad-engine wide-body commercial airliners as seen from the rear.

Its sad that I haven't caught a SIA A340, they are a rare sight. They're retiring this year, right?

Yup, returning back to Airbus. Not much resale value for them anyway.

Republic of Singapore Airforce (RSAF) F-16D Block 52+ Fightning Falcon
145 "Hornet" Squadron (145 SQN) "Swift & Valiant" @ Changi Air Base (CAB) East / WSSS

RSAF S/N. 673
Manufacturer S/N. 01-6022

Caught this RSAF F-16D Block 52+ Fightning Falcon with strange markings on the vertical stabilizer (complete with a black / blue checkered tailband...!!!) and ventral fins, wasn't there on the other RSAF F-16D Block 52+ Fightning Falcons that I had previously captured. Tried searching for similar photos but to no avail.

There seems to be some wordings on the ventral fins but I can't make it out.

Is there any place to snap planes departing WSSS?

Happy Chinese New Year to all fellow aviation enthusiasts and plane spotters...!!!

Hope you Ladies and Gentlemen had enjoyed your long holiday weekend.

:D

A number of F-16s from 140,143 and 145 Sqn received these markings for Ex Hotshot 2012. These should have been taken quite some time back since they've been removed. Some of the vipers had their canopies painted as well.

Yup, returning back to Airbus. Not much resale value for them anyway.
