Not possible for RSAF aircraft to make a standard instrument approach into WSAP without violating Bolehland's territorial airspace, a ban in which they had enforced since 1998.
Unless the over guang ho pilots prefer to land on runway 20 Kai Tek style, flying in from the east towards Pulau Ubin (while simultaneously violating air traffic separation minima and sounding off numerous TCAS Traffic Advisory/Resolution Advisory (TA/RA) aural warnings in the cockpits of commercial aircraft climbing out from or on final approach into WSSS resulting in them having to perform evasive manoeuvre or declare a go-around), turning sharply just before Papa Uniform DVOR/DME and finally intercepting runway 20 ILS localizer in heavy crosswind for a perfect crab landing.
Sorry, just couldn't resist.
That is a Acceleration Monitoring Assembly (AMA) pods painted a different colour to aid in aerial recognition. There seems to be also a similar one on the port side wingtip of the other F-16C.
