Gulfstream G550 CAEW (017) on short final inbound towards Tengah Airbase. Clear touch-and-go, runway 36.

the newly reopen viewing gallery offers the same view before renovations. i went there after going to SITEX on 25NOV.

Everytime I see this wonderful thread I remember the day I was peddling a canoe off Sarimbun Scout Camp in Nov 1978... the magnificent SR71 Blackbird popped out of the clouds and flew over our heads and landed at Tengah. A few of us saw it at the airbase when we drove by in the scout master's car later that day. There was a USAF KC135 there also.

Regret to this day none of us had a camera...

Paya Lebar Airbase (PLAB) is a civil-military aerodrome thus civilian registered aircraft do land there quite frequently.

That is the air data boom (essentially an enlarged pitot tube) if I'm not mistaken.
