Nice shots, gilcrest. Where were they captured?

Thanks, it roared out when I was around Tampinese Industrial Ave 5 area.

9V-Orion; your G550 shot angles are superbly good.

Oh! Thanks for the info, Bro.

Ya, I also agree that Orion's G550 shots are superb. :thumbsup:

Changi Terminal 1's Viewing mall has re-opened after renovations. Good for spotting in air-conditioned comfort. Have fun. :)

the newly reopen viewing gallery offers the same view before renovations. i went there after going to SITEX on 25NOV.

Everytime I see this wonderful thread I remember the day I was peddling a canoe off Sarimbun Scout Camp in Nov 1978... the magnificent SR71 Blackbird popped out of the clouds and flew over our heads and landed at Tengah. A few of us saw it at the airbase when we drove by in the scout master's car later that day. There was a USAF KC135 there also.

Regret to this day none of us had a camera...
Cool story, bro! And I meant that it as a literal compliment. :thumbsup:

Anyone can identify this aircraft?
Beechcraft King Air C90A operated by ST Aerospace Training Academy (STATA) as a trainer aircraft to qualify cadet pilots for a multi-engine rating pilot license. ;)
Pitts special.

Was wondering why a civillian-looking plane would land in a military airport~

Paya Lebar Airbase (PLAB) is a civil-military aerodrome thus civilian registered aircraft do land there quite frequently. ;)

Hi fellas,

Been a long time since I last posted. Here's some of my contributions;

Saw one of these at Changi airport. What is the function of the long tube/antenna (?) on the vertical stabilizer ?
That is the air data boom (essentially an enlarged pitot tube) if I'm not mistaken. ;)

A TV-guided AGM-65B on port wing and an AGM-65E/F/G on the starboard wing.
