That was a snapshot from the 1980 satirical comedy classic film "Airplane!", the blow-up doll is supposedly the aircraft autopilot system appropriately named as "Otto".

The air stewardess portrayed by Julie Hagerty had to give Otto a blow job to reinflate it in one scene. :bsmilie:

I haven't had a chance to actually take the aircraft, but for plane spotting I use the telezoom Bignon EF 100-400mm IS USM... A great bazooka :o:D

WHOA
I'm using Canon 55-250mm IS only...
Another thing though, I read somewhere, one of these posts or threads, that the Chinook lands in A-Airport, while F16/F15/C130 lands in B-Airport and Fokker (Or a plane which looks like that) lands in C-Airport, but the location where I am shooting from (the park right in front of my Grandparent's house) has all the above aircraft flying right overhead at quite low (My estimate is ard 200-250m)... How come arh? Or do they all land at same airport?

Everytime I see this wonderful thread I remember the day I was peddling a canoe off Sarimbun Scout Camp in Nov 1978... the magnificent SR71 Blackbird popped out of the clouds and flew over our heads and landed at Tengah. A few of us saw it at the airbase when we drove by in the scout master's car later that day. There was a USAF KC135 there also.

Regret to this day none of us had a camera...

care to share which location to spot the jets :) I guess only the C-130 and F-5 base at Paya Lebar Airbase. All taken at 250mm?

Yeah that's what I thought as well, dunno if I'm lucky or what yesterday got so many varieties fly by in approx 1hr~
Nehhh... Alot of them definitely not even close to 250mm~
Will check the EXIF.s of them and tell you shortly~
Oops. Realised I deleted the originals liao...
So best I can say is: Not even close to 250mm~
