Nice shots, 9V-Orion Images. If you don't mind could you share where is the location from which these shots are taken? PM me if you want to. Thanks :)

B744 wings swept further backwards, probably A340.

Everytime seeing an SQ's A340 I will stop and slowly admire because they fly the longest journey every take off.
very remarkable feat for the pilots and crew, so are the passengers who travel in them.

nevertheless great pictures!

That looks like a A340-500/600.

Yeah, would you please share where you took the pic? From what I hear the only place that one can take the landing shot is blocked by fencing and noisy trucks speeding like nobody's business :D

Hi guys, thanks for all the comments and enquiries though I will have to apologise as it is not in my intention to disclose any potential plane spotting locations that have not been revealed publicly for reasons of "security" as promised to a certain individual, though it shouldn't be too difficult for people familiar with the layout of aerodrome: WSSS to figure out that particular vantage point in question where the photos are taken. Your kind understanding is very much appreciated. :)

For some reason, I was pretty sure it was a "jumbo jet" when I had initially took the photo though I could be a wrong and a "flying pencil" makes just as much sense too. :think:

I doubt I had ever saw a civilian McDonnell Douglas DC-9 much less a militarised variant in Singapore before, you are indeed very fortunate to have shot one especially in this era.

:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Ahh... Did you take them from the fire station near the runway, or from the control tower? Looks like it, as the whole perimeter fence is covered by those trees...

US Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton is on a tour throughout Asia at the moment. So far she's visited Guam, Vietnam, Malaysia, New Zealand and has today arrived in Melbourne Australia. Here she'll meet with Australian PM and Foreign Minister, among others and will take part in the AUSMIN series of meetings with US Secretary of Defence Robert Gates, who'll discuss security issues with the Aussie PM and FM.

Here's her jet arriving in Melbourne this afternoon, US Air Force Boeing C-32A (757) 99-0003 landing on YMML's Rwy 27. Callsign SAM8278

Is the former RSAF Hawker Hunter FGA.74 still certified airworthy? Would be nice to see it still performing aerial display in the RSAF SEA camouflage paint scheme. :think:

Those are some pretty awe-inspiring aviation photo galleries you got there by the way, thanks for sharing. :thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Thanks, unfortunately the Hunter is no longer airworthy. She's now part of the display at Fighter World Museum, which is located just next to Newcastle Airport/RAAF Williamtown (NTL/YWLM).
