took these a/c a few days back and decided to post a few uniques ones (to me) :)

Dun know if Sir Lankan Airlines are running out of budget for their livery or is it a new trend?

This aircraft is leased from Luzair and will operate with SriLankan until September IIRC. Normally they used A340s.

Awesome shots gilcrest! Were these taken today? I was driving along TPE today when I saw F-15s & F-16s taking off from PLAB.

From far, it was a moment I thought I have been waiting for from months of observation.

It looks like a C17 from a far with its lights, alas another disappointment when it flew nearer.

Anybody knows what 9V-SQA is doing back in SG? Supposed to be at VCV.

Between -200 and -300, obvious difference is the stretched body with extra set of door

9V-SQA was ferried back to SIN as flight SQ788. I believe this is one of the 777s that will be sold off to other airlines hence it's back probably for the repaint before leaving SQ permanently.

The Australian Defence Force (ADF) holds an annual airshow during the spring school vacation. RAAF Williamtown was the host of this year's airshow, and as usual the RAAF and RAN has put out an impressive lineup of participants, together with Australia's warbird fraternity who have contributed with their historic aircraft. This year's airshow marks several events, chief among them being the RAAF's F-111 fleet's last public airshow before retirement in December.

In addition to being the public swansong of the RAAF's F-111, this year's Defence Airshow also marks 25 years of RAAF F/A-18 Hornet operations, 10 years of BAe Hawk operations, and 3 Sqn's 94th anniversary. Both days of the airshow saw more than 4 hours of aerial displays by the various participants. Here are some of my shots:

Is the former RSAF Hawker Hunter FGA.74 still certified airworthy? Would be nice to see it still performing aerial display in the RSAF SEA camouflage paint scheme.

Those are some pretty awe-inspiring aviation photo galleries you got there by the way, thanks for sharing.:thumbsup::thumbsup:
