Eh! Why is the plane 'cut'? :bsmilie:

Suppose to highlight the cockpit and intake areas mah !:D

The lighting was very good and just felt this pic good to share with all.

Ah! So I see Bro. Thanks for sharing. :)

hi just want to check, is there a viewing deck in T3 where we can shoot those birds?

thanks

...The lighting was very good...

Errmmm not really. The light is a little too harsh, and sun a bit too high when the photos were taken. In this case the subjects were lighted from the top, and not enough for the sides. Hence quite a lot of the aircraft are in shadow.

I assume the pics are taken in between 1000-1200 in the morning?

It may not be the best but comparatively to weeks of overcast and rainy weather, this is much to look forward to. Out of the many stake outs and disappointments in the photographic results the past weeks; these have been encouraging.

The lighting is actually 1310 - 1400 Hrs at almost 40 degress celcuis .

@gilcrest: I like your sunset shots! Can even see the pilots' silhouette clearly. If only the F-15SG had lit its afterburner (like the F-5T) it would be perfect.

F-15SG taking off from PLAB for yesterday's NDP rehearsal.

Thanks Singer high for the compliments!

For F15 getting there ;provided the right condition in lighting and timing of the take off occurs . I notice the F15 hardly use afterburners for take off or the fact its not that noticable with power from both engines.

@killerslayer92: D300 with Sigma 120-400mm and Kenko 2x teleconverter. Good thing the evening sun cast enough light for the teleconverter to take good shots. The previous Sat it was overcast and all my shots with the teleconverter CMI.

Thx. Changi Airport viewing gallery is a big disappointment.

My last spotting with Changi was during it T3 open house.

Very gloomy day. I had to do lots of heavy PP and also lots of cropping to make these pictures somewhat presentable. Not much IQ to speak of, but just want to share:
