Interesting looking "squared headed" pod mounted at the no. 2 and no. 6 hardpoints, I wonder what purpose does it serve?

I also noticed additional "fences" on the top side of the wings just in front of the landing gears. These seem to have been added on.:)

Love the striking color of your F5 "30" shot; I throw in mine to keep the pot cooking:bsmilie:
Nice landing shots! Where were these taken?

Seems like the second F-5 has been modified to be an EW bird. Interesting.

Just sharing some planes shots i've done in the past... :)

Looks like ELTA EL/L-8212 Jamming pod. See page 2 for picture.
Many thanks for the link to the advertising brochure, the EW pod on that particular F-5T Tiger II shot by Gilcrest does indeed look identical to the IAI Elta EL/L 8212 ECM jammer. :)

Thank you for your contribution, those photos must be taken at least a number of years back as evident by the "Jubilee" title on the B777-212/ER. :)

Some shots of the F-15SG static display during the recent National Runway Cycling and Skating annual event with my P&S camera, didn't really had the time to upload it till now.

The jets were too high up. So didnt post them up.

Wow!!! :thumbsup::thumbsup:

Now THAT is one cool picture! You must have been there early... 0745H??? The place was packed with people after 0800H. I thought the sun rising from behind would have made any decent pictures impossible but you did a great job. Did you manage to get up close to touch the jet or take other pictures? Quite a few people were given mini tours around the jet.

Any way you could send me a high resolution image of your second picture? I like that a lot.

How did you figure out 8306 was SG05-004?

It was taken in Ubi areas.

Here's my take today with the mammoth F15SG, and not so ideal lighting in the afternoon sun.

the f15 has an excellent service record... only its getting kinda old :\ wonder why we buy it instead of the f35... sg so small our airfields can be taken out simultaneously quite easily..

Thanks for the info. Looks like the F-15 didn't deploy its speedbrake for landing?

F15SG is newly built and pack with the latest stuff so it's still good for our intended usage.
F35 will only be available many years later and suppose to replace the F5/F16 instead.
Of coz, I'm no expert so may just be wrong :)
