I got to try an M2 (from a friend here in Bangkok) and I must say we both agree that there is very little new (from the "M") that warrants all the trouble of importing the M2… I still say just get the "M" and be happy… Canon will market a new (FF mirror less) later next year and possibly a new DX mirrorless as well… I think the M2 is not worth the trouble at this time… I am still quit happy with my pair of M's… I use the following lenses with them on a regular basis… Nikon 16mm Fisheye… Samyang 12mm (nikon mt)… 22mm (M mt).. EF 40mm f2.8 pancake.. EF 100mm F2… EF 200 F2.8 L… and sometimes the following… Voigtlander 20mm f3.5… Voigtlander 40mm F2.. Voigtlander 90mm F3.5.. (all in Nikon mt)… Also I have used the EF 300 F4 (stabilized version) with excellent results… At the moment I consider my M kit as my primary gear… Nuff said!!! I think Canon is just now starting to realize how many of us so called "pro's use the M…(not so much for its "specs"… but for its versatility).. i.e being able to use nearly all of the EF/EFS glass made for EOS cameras…For instance… the M body coupled with an EF 200f2.8L lens is much cheaper and probably better than Any one of the Oly bodies and their new 40-150 f2.8 zooms… Not to say that I wouldn't mind eventually getting the Oly zoom..(I own Olympus/Panasonic M4/3 gear as well.) But the Oly lenses do not mount on my 5D (classic) LOL… Versatility is the Key in my book…Its all about the "Glass" not the bodies…LOL
