OFFICIAL CANON EOS100D Discussion

Lol! What exactly is the difference in weight between a Canon 5D Mark II, a Canon 70D and a Canon 100D? I would think the weight comes from the lenses and any of the "extra" stuff you pack in your bag.

But if losing that few hundred grams is that crucial, the Canon 100D is fine, if not a little bare in features compared to the 5D Mark II.

I've been happy with my 100D since day 1... I don't like big bulky DSLRs that why i have been contented with my phone cam for years.. Until i got my EOS M early this year, i finally saw what i was missing.. Then i learned that Canon has released the smallest DSLR in the market which made me ditch the M and go for a proper DSLR camera.

Planning to get a 40mm pancake lens which will compliment the small size of the 100D. I'm only a newbie in photography so in most cases i find the 100D gets the job done for me.. :)

Yap. For some like me who not use to EVF, Canon 100D is god send. Smallest* DSLR with OVF and take EF/EFS lens......
