not the 6D has problems with 3rd party haha.. but the 3rd party batteries have problem with the 6D :p

You need to buy the latest versions of third party batteries that were decoded for the 6D, or the original ones.

I read somewhere that the 6D has problems with 3rd party battery?
is that true?

My 50 f/1.4 lens also only has 8-digit serial number inscribed on it. Date code is not imprinted.

I thought L lens will definitely have date code stamp. Are you looking at the black or silver lens mount surface?

My new 24-70 MKII no lens code. The sales person only printed out the receipt with serial number from the bottom of the lens. So I presume, it will be a norm soon.

Hi all. I just read the features of the 6d. Is it true that they have multiple exposure function, combining 2 different scenes into one image? The promotion book has the feature but the cusomter service staff didn't have a clue on it
