Sorry, what do you mean?
my wife and i uses the camera via liveview (sony a65) because it''ll be difficult to get the angle via viewfinder. so i guess if we got to stick wif the SLTs for high speed AF via liveview?
high speed contrast AF is not something that Canon excel in. But u do not need to stick wth SLT for high speed contrast AF... many mirrorless camera out there already had very very fast speed contrast AF (Oly and Pana came into mind). If it is Fullframe sensor that came into mind... then yes... you need to stick with Sony.

Hi Guys,
jus wondering, since Canon 6D have a GPS function, how about does this GPS feature show up in my pic files?
ie only when i open the files via specific programs? eg Photoshop Elements 11 ?
how about facebook ?
there is a function in Photoshop Elements 11, to post pics directly to Facebook....will that show the location?
how about do you use the GPS function? - or make use of this special feature ?
Frankly though... if you have been using a65, then the next logical step would be a99... or a step down (or up depending on how you look at it) to NEX series of camera. Because these cameras had similar user interface that you are familiar with. Why would you want to change and jump ship to another system? Note that Sony cameras performed very very well against competitors and they are very respectable. Although I would not go Sony (personal reasons nothing to do with the cameras), but I do not encourage people who are used to one system to jump ship simply because some fanbois and fangirls out there recommend that system and some reviews give other camera brand favourable reviews...
I m not very committed to the A mount yet, only got a cheap 35mm f1.8 , NEX s too slow.
Well... then you should look at what you don't like about SLT... then look at what others offer that attracted you, like 6D... next go into the shop and play around with the cameras that you shortlist (just don't hit the shutter button) and see which one you like better lor.
As for FF sensor - 6D, D600, A99, 5DmkIII, D800 are all very well respected, all of them are incredible system, all of them are good enough for most of your use (note that 6D had the slowest AF here)... and other than A99, I imagine all other had slower contrast AF. So depending on what you want.
It shoes up as coordinates (longitude and latitude). Don't think Facebook makes any use of geo tagging, at least not when I post geo tagged photos from my Nikon with GPS unit. Lightroom does handle geo tags and Flickr does, too.
hi bro,
thanks for your comments, can i check ... so what you are saying is that, the GPS feature, is more of a "HIDDEN" ie, unless i use specific programs, the data wont show up in the actual pics ... ( not like last time film camera, date , time stamp )
also FLICKR, if got GPS, it will show on the right hand side, where the pic is taken, - just curious ...can anyone "kelong" on the GPS setting, ie change it ?? -
GPS coordinates just like any metadata stored in the exif can be edited. Cos there are times where the satellites obscured and give an approximate location, and those third party apps can make changes.
It's definitely not printed onto the image if that's what you mean.hi bro,

does anyone have focusing issue of the 6D with 24-105?
im lazy to do focusing test, seems quite tedious.
so just checking if the occurence rate is high
