Prices never really drop here, it's still nothing compared to price drops in Europe and Japan.

Can this be because Canon sells very well here? The consumers have some say...

lol...

Meh, the grip is one accessory i would never get for the 6d. It's meant to be portable, not to double up as a "pro dslr" which is bulky

No reason for you to get the grip when u have the 1DX.

Exactly, in that case I would go straight to the 1D X.

And who says the 6D can't rock even if it's not a "pro" dslr without the grip?

I love it to bits!

Another sneak preview of my photos of London. One of my favourite images there and which I will be blowing up big on canvas.

The millenium bridge where it was featured in one harry potter film.

Nah, using the grip to balance my 70-200 else I will also travel light if I dun use that lens.

I guess it depends on your choice of pairing. I would never pair my 70-200 with my 6D personally as i already strictly segmented it for portability and back up use.

The body has to remain small and lean no matter what, for me.

YMMV

Anyone pair their 6D with Metz 58AF2 flash?? Can it do wireless flash? Machiam the Nikon CLS like that.... Or we need some more hardware?? :dunno:

loving every bit of the wifi on 6D.

Great for gatherings where you can snap group photos, friends, use ur phone to d/l the photos, upload to facebook and tag them :)

Yup. Love it's feature. Seems to be the more interesting dslr in the market

Anyway, based on what i read on the net so far, it seems like the high iso performance of 6D is better than the 5D3... Am i correct to say that 6D is the current canon's high iso champ, even surpassing the 1DX??

its only roughly 1/3 stops better than 5D3 if u pixel peep hard.

that tiny tiny technical difference would not have impact your photographs.

nobody, except engineers and gear geeks, would pixel peep Mona Lisa portrait in a art museum and say got noise, not sharp, low dynamic range etc. lol

Actually, you cannot even get that near to the Mona Lisa painting! From where the museum allows you to view, you might as well get the post-card.
