I have the same problem with my 60D but a little different. Having owned the 550D and used the 7D, noise level at ISO 400 and below seems the same across the models. Yes, there is noise and it's not perfect. However, at ISO 800 and above, noise becomes apparent, and I start seeing white/blue/red dots at random over any image at 1/60 sec. I've seen many 100% untouched samples and mine seems worse.
My 60D is now at CCC for investigation.
I suggest you google for 60d sample images similar to the ones you took in terms of exposure and settings (eg. indoors, evening, etc.), and check the exif data to verify. If they look much better than what you get at the same ISO, you could have a bad copy.
Take a look at the link which I found:

Was thinking should I send my camera for " Body check up" or should I just leave it since its working fine
SCULDER said:anyone here using "Back Focus"? Been using it quite a while. At first I feel awkward.
Now I got used to it already. Actually it's better in control

I thought warranty only covers manufacturing defects and not personal imposed damage?
What's that

I can't seem to do 5fps on the 60D with the class 6 SD card. Max around 3 fps it will pause reading already. Is there something wrong with the card or should I get a better one? I need to do burst shots on many occasions. Any recommendation? Shooting purely RAW.
you need to watch this. it;s great!

i think there is a site somewhere that shows us which class cards can shoot up to how many fps. try googling it?
There are 2 bags they giving. Depending on shop I think. I got a quite big one and my friend got a smaller version of it at another shop
whitekop said:Ok I gave up. Sold the camera already. Noted that it is almost impossible to do burst shots, even with class 10 SD. 5.3 fps don't really work as mentioned. Haiz, been doing video mainly with this camera, now then noticed got this problem. Will consider my options again. May just get the 550D or 600D since I feel that it's about the same in this area and video.
You can tell the shop you do not want the small messenger bag and indicate in the receipt bag not collected. Then bring the receipt down to CSC to request for the bigger one, which is much more useful imo.
