Anyone tried shooting with 60d in a bit rainy days ? Is the sealing good ? Thanks
I shot at Niagara Falls with 15-85mm lens. The camera is so wet that I can only see water on the lens filter and auto focus can't even works.

Both camera and lens are still working fine after that.

Anyone try the built in wireless transmitterto trigger flashes?

Yup.. I've tried my 60D with a Nissin Di866 and it works.. the in-camera flash transmitter sensed the flash..

yes, work with my very old 420EX but the build in flash must fire - the build-in:wireless ratio and the fire only wireless flash setting not working.

I'm believe you can have an option to trigger both or S1 / S2 flashes.

yes, there is such setting but it din work. I set to fire only the slave off-camera flash but the build in flash still fire. I tried the ratio setting - set the build in flash fire at much weaker ratio but it still fired at full power also.

Really. Let me have a try and let you know whether mine is also function the same way.

Im read thru some guideline over internet and it stated the step on the setting.

you also have the 420EX? the 10 years old 420EX? ;p

I suspect the culprit is the old 420EX, not the 60D wireless trigger. Waiting for 580EX III actually. ;p

Is there a way to disable built in flash while using wireless ttl on ext. Flash? besides, what's the max no. of ext. flashes can a 60D fire simultaneously.

I dun think u can disable built-in flash for the wireless trigger. Anyway it not the number of ext flash u can triggered. There is 3 grouping a & b plus built-in flash as master. Therefore in theory, I guess as long as u have a few flash as group a and a few a group b u should be able to control them. For me I still uses a 3rd party wireless trigger device.

I bought Canon 60D DSLR Camera with 18-200mm lens at $2000 with all these free gifts of two pieces of 8gb memory card, Crumpler Bag, Canon Tripod, 60D hand book, UV filter, 3rd party high capacity battery(with 1yr warranty), screen protector, jumbo cleaning kit n another UV filter for my Olympus Pen EPL-1 Camera kit lens. Did I get a good deal??? .....
Hi totoro, me also interested to get a 60D kit III. May I know where u got the deal at. Thanks in advance

I was there 2 days ago. But can find a suitable sling bag. Need some thing small but can fit my cam with BG. They are either too big or too small.

How about a billingham?

I'm also looking at the 60D to replace my 30D. Anyone know where I can buy the 60D body only for $1300 with the freebies that was offered during Comex? The Crumpler bag, tripod and 2 x 8G SD card?

Thanks

You can try getting this hotshoe mount that blocks the build in flash. Although it does not stop it from firing, it covers the front so no flash will be shot infront. Good for aquatic photography :)

:bsmilie: Good idea.
