Official Canon EOS 60D User Thread Part II

you say "enough for a 15-85", i thought you still wanna get other lenses.

15-85 and 17-55 are 2 different lenses, so again it boils down to whether you want the reach or f2.8.

it's not a tough choice when you know what you need. as for tele lens, it can come later, after you are done with your current dilemma, haha.

What I meant is if I sell my 600D then I shd hv the budget for a 60D Body, 17-55 lens and either a EX580 or 430 flash. But if I go for the 7D, I'll have no $$ for the 17-55 liao can only go for the 15-85 lens lor... If I stay on my 600D, then I'll get the 17-55 plus the EX430II (but frankly, 15-85 return to my head again #@$%&^$# :P

Haha just for one screen protector? Not worth it la bro! Anyway, just like bro tecnica mentioned, 600D to 60D is not a big jump, might as well just go for 7D, else just stay with your 600D lor ;) IMHO, i don't think it's worth to upgrade just because or the ergomonics, 7D is a better bet. Just my opinion :D

So just hoot the 7D kit II? If I'm decided on the 15-85 then I dont mind... ZZZ 1 reason I choose the 60D oso b cos of the articulating screen so my wife wont know I change body :P

you can add a battery grip to the 600D to enhance the grip.

honestly i prefer the 17-55 + 430EXII/580EXII because i am using this combo now with the latter flash.

like i said before, you can always make up for the range with a 85 prime. with this setup, you gain fast aperture and not to mention bokehlicious shots but the opportunity cost is convenience luh.

don't buy it just because "you don't mind".

buy it only when you like it.

Bro, If want to upgrade you should go all the way. If not don't waste money. Get a battery grip ok already. Or else after upgrading, few months later you will think of upgrading to FF... never end one. Body loose value very fast.

any SexyD interested in minty BG-E9? pls PM.. i just bought a very new BG-E9 but found it a little bit to big for my hand... PM me if you want.. Thanks!!

Hi Bro,

Hi Bro,

Thanks for the advice. My fren say the same thing. If wanna upgrade then go all the way dont waste $$ on upgrading to another body which share the same sensor. Having think back, I think it does make sense. Thanks :)

Bro, Can I check how much did you pay for your 17-55 original lens hood?

Bro, Can I check how much did you pay for your 17-55 original lens hood?

i use 3rd party lens hoods for all my lenses.

even for the 70-200L, i have a 3rd party one for it too.

24-70L on the 600D will be very very unbalanced.

the lens is 950g but the body is only ~600g.

I just bought a scandisk 16GB class 6 SD card, for my cannon 60d.
During my test, the video recording still automatically stopped after around 10 - 12 minutes of recording. Is it expected?
