Local set still at S$4135 with GST. That's S$3864.50 with no GST, so grey set price should be about right.

Lynn

I prefer the price @ $$3800 with GST :)

If you can afford, and you think you need it, why wait? :)

It's not really a new model anymore now it's past 6 months since launch. Prices should have stablised by now. What's more, with the launch of 6D, any further push-down in prices would have happened by now (although I don't think it affects much).

wah... local still S$4135? still expensive compared to other countries!

When launched in Singapore, the 5D3 was the cheapest in the world. Now its the most expensive. I wonder what is going on? Hopefully prices will lower after the New Year and be on par with the rest of the world.

Every now and then u see the US sites selling the camera for 28xx, 27xx..... i wonder if the prices does affect sg to some extent...
Seems like the prices of mark III is holding steady at 4.1k local

there are couple of seller letting go their 5DM3 local set @3.4~3.5, still have almost 6 months warranty left and less shutter count. You guys can consider that. I got mine from them in B&S section.

Hi all,

This may have been discussed.

Is there a way that I can channel (in the menu I hope) all my stills to the CF card and my movies to the SD?

Read User Thread Part 1-4 but not able to find an answer.

Any help would be appreciated.

Is there a way to do a batch re-size of images in folder, not one by one selection. Thanks.

You read through all those threads but never picked up the instruction manual? You might want to read that.

anyone try ddelectronic before ?
great price for 5d3 ???

Dodgethis, I just search the manual again (so that I don't look and sound stupid). Can't seems to find the answer.
Care to point me in the right direction?

are you sure? i paid S$3800 for the first batch of 5D3 with 2 years canon warranty some more.

any problem, i just need to go JB to fix it. (i go in to pump petrol and buy grocery often anyway)

IMO, better than buying grey set

I don't think you can do such thing..

The record separately is meant for the quality of the images (RAW, MRAW, SRAW, JPEG high res, low res, etc), not still or movie files

Correct me if i'm wrong..

Thanks guseliz,

I just need to ensure that this is the case so that I do not spend more resources looking for a solution that might not be there.

Appreciate your help.

Again we might be wrong, there might actually be a solution (I hope). Let me look at the manual again :)

For those who question whether their cameras will perform well in cold weather, I've got proof with my Canon 5D Mk III that it works flawlessly. Below are a series of photos taken a few days ago on a journey through a very remote highway in eastern Canada where there are no people, buildings or gas stations for 135 kms. Temperatures were below zero. I've since taken other photos when temperatures were less than minus 10 degrees Celsius.

Ha Ha... good question... the fish would have been good. But I was trying to out run a snow storm that eventually dumped 30 cm of snow on the road. Also, I saw moose tracks by my car. I didn't want to hang around too long cause the moose in that area are about 9 feet tall.
