read though page 124 of the manual on ISO.

it says that if you use flash, ISO is auto set to 400, unless you are doing off hotshoe flash on auto or P mode, ISO range is given to be 400-1600.

Yup exactly. But Auto and P mode using 5D3? Seriously?

But then I guess that's also why they placed this higher Auto ISO range in Auto and P modes. Lol.

lol, if I were loaded, I could buy 1DX and shoot on green mode :bsmilie:

oh wait, 1DX no green mode :bsmilie:

I'm using the one for 60D.. not 100% coverage but at least got 95% covered. About 1mm each on left and right sides are not covered. Ok lah.. for me..

No leh, the one i bought is for the DS L, which is a 5" screen so both sheets are bigger than the 5D3 screen..i had to cut to size..

Nor surprising really, i always use P mode when i'm using flash for events, i rather let the camera decide so i can get the shot rather than fiddle with the settings and miss the shots..you can't exactly repeat the same shot.

If I were loaded, I would hire a team to carry all my equipment and have it at the ready whenever I needed it.

I dream in technicolour... ;)

yeah I remember you said this before :bsmilie:

1 mobile storeroom with all the gears, a few man to carry your equipments and a small team of lighting specialists to do the strobe :D

In event shooting, it is always a lot of guessing, anticipation, and switching off is too dangerous... and you miss a good shot!

To those who wants RAW support in Lightroom, LR 4.1 RC is out.

5D3 users, anyone interested going for a shoot this sunday?
