Got mine from TK 4250 cash. Tried bargain, but no means no...anyway they were nice enough to reserve for me over the phone, so cannot complain too much.

SLRR is 4241.

Check with 5d owners, the rotary dial at the top is very much looser than those on the xxd body?

The shutter button don't seem to have the double click feel like on the xxd? As in you can half press, but there is no distinct half press stop and then when you press some more to take the photo, there is no distinct second click?

Yes, CP is popular. Also, their asking price is 4390. I will buy from other shops tmr, no need to queue behind those pre-orders. Should not be an issue to get one, it is not like iPhone or iPad after all.

Lolz yeah, when i look at the queues in Takashimaya at Chanel and LV outlet, where they need to employ security guard to do crowd control, I always ask myself "Isn't there a crisis in the financial system now"

Now with the queue for 5D3, I got the confirmation already

Actually the camera does warrant its price la, else I do not think anyone will wanna buy. This camera is likely to break my belief in investing more in lenses only

don't say other people la, i also want to sell my entire crop setup and move to 5DMKIII.

but it will be a very costly move which i think i should be realistic and make do with what i have, until i have a larger piece of dough that is.

Thats the 1 series shutter release. No half press like the other models. Its a soft touch release.
