OOpps my bad. I have used the 7D sparingly over the past year in favour of my 5D. I guess I will have to admit to answer "c"... lol :)

Gracious as can be :thumbsup::thumbsup:

You can check out 7D... It uses the same metering system.

Not sure this time how good the d800 in video as compared with canon. If it is comparable, will keep 5D mk ii and buy nikon d800. Let wait for another month and two, surely a lot of reviews on these two new dslr.

End March = April.

But I hope there are enough stock to go around for the community.

iam surprise when we are talking about DSLR and yet alot of people seems to be very concern with video?
it will be the last thing in my consideration list.
i seldom or rather never use video on my DSLR,onlu use it just to test if its working and never for shooting.

There are many people who use the 5DII as a video camera though, especially amateur film-makers. So it makes sense that Canon will continue to address their needs.

I sold off my 1 series to get 5D Mk II partly because of video.

btw the video is filmed at ISO 5000 if you never notice it at the bottom left.

Hmm LP-E6 rated only at 950 shots?? I can take more than 1200 when I was using the 7D without grip :)

Still no built in flash. Maybe the top class ISO cam still satisfy all the needs?

if u can afford the 5D3 you sure as hell can afford an external flash.

and seriously who uses the built in flash???? if you do than obviously the 5D3 is not for u.
