No. Need the warranty as well. Just went last week with my invoice to redeem the freebies, but got rejected.

oh my.

cuz i managed to reg a Canon Lens i bought (at the same time as the 550D) but not the 550D itself

i see..

can share what you know it can or can't do?

will be good knowledge. :)

I think its more of me whom is dissatisfying with the camera. I personally want to have a larger sensor, a better and bigger overall grip, and a camera that does not have any crop factor 1:1. 16mm = 16mm. And I feel better with a CF card instead of a SD card.

Well, that's me. That's what I feel.

... Will be aiming for the 5D mark III to be out to couple the 24-70 and 70-200 with it..

how much is your 16-35 + 70-200?
Im considering tamron's 70-300 usd to pair with my 18-55.. Need some feedback here.

16-35 ($1800) + 70-200 ($2850) = $4650

Both L lens.

I really really wanna get a 550D soon....

When i was collecting my freebies, there was a student infront of me. He only brought the receipt, his english was not good so i assume he's a foreign student ( vietnam or where ). Anyway, he said that he only had the purchase reciept and they allowed him to collect the freebies.

so might be case to case, can try your luck.

Any 550D user using the 70-200F4 IS? Is it an overkill for the 550D?

Hi, I very often using ISO 1600 indoor and ISO 800, the noise level is acceptable for me.. may be you can paste some of your image..

Do u shoot in RAW and did you underexposure ur images. underexpose will see more noise in the dark areas

Oh guys. I was playing with my setting. And I realized that when I set the exposure, the picture turns out the same. How can I test if it's working? I was shooting indoor during day time.

try to shoot in manual mode and also learn to see the exposure metering in ur view finder to judge the exposure. and shoot. learn to read the Histogram as you are shooting the same scene indoor and play around with the shutter and aperture.

have fun

I m 1 of them... Dun bother with those comments, as long as it's the right FL for u thn jst go ahead and get it! This lens is super super sharp!

A bit hard to hold if u r not using Batt grip as our grip on the right hand is pretty small

nope, just go with what you need.

but do consider a battery grip which may (slightly) help balance the weight of the 70-200 f/4. :)
