Just wondering if anyone's using the magic lantern for the 550d.. any problems with it?

Custom ISO settings. Very useful.
From 1,600 to 3,200 is most of the time too huge a jump.

From what i know. It is pretty save.
The only thing that thing does permanently is that it edits a file saved in the RAM of the 550D so that i allows to boot from SD card.
If you use another SD card other than the one you used for magiclatern, it will be as per normal unless you format the SD card for magiclatern use.

There's a reason for that. ISO 1600 to 3200 is one stop. So you also adjust your time or aperture value accordingly by one stop. If you have smaller increment, or fraction of a stop, then you aperture and shutter value will have to have the same ability to do that. Not sure if Magic Lantern allows that?

Answered your question in the thread. Try Canon PPP with a nonworking Canon PNS/DSLR if you can find one.
