You can choose to buy from DD Electronics but if your camera is spoiled [touchwood] you can only go back to their shop. Is actually up to you where you want to buy your EOS 550D from. For me if let's say i buy lenses that cost around $300 then I will buy from DD Electronics. I bought my dry cabinet at $115 from Ms Color @ AMK Hub. Standard price for 30L dry cabinet is in between $115-$118.

cos DSLR is so affordable right now. But the problems come, most teenagers with DSLR shoot with Auto Mode, thus quality is pretty much the same with normal P&S cameras.

they offer their own in-shop warranty, but i do not really trust it, that's why i havent bought from them yet

haha im buying from them this week! Price really too good to resist & other CS-ers also have past exp with this shop so it shouldn't be a problem i guess :X

Yea.. It defeat the purpose of shooting using a SLR when u are shooting with auto mode..

The reason why I got a DSLR for myself is because I want the manual over ride functions which allows me to shoot a different perspectives like long exposures, panning movements.

The hotshoe was a great feature which allows me to fire 3 flashes which I discovered another perspectives.

For me i prefer taking Photos of landscape.. so looking forward for WA lens..

hi all pro n seniors

i am thinking of getting 550d or the next generation.

i will be shotting modelling and fashion (in my room), what type of lens will be more suitable? Kit II?

for marco shotting, is there anything that is attached to the lens? or is just another lens i need to purchase?

Do i need to get an external flash or the built in is more then enough?
