For me, with the Canon 550D, I am able to shoot F1 with a fast 85mm f/1.8 USM

hey guys.. i intend to get a extenal flash for night shot.. can i know what is extenal flash is good for beginner user. I took some sunrise and sunset shot recently and it really didnt turn out well.. Sometime when i am taking grp photos it does give me such problem too..

I intend to get it from ebay unless locally got good price for it.. pls recommand for extenal flash..

can not use FLASH for Sunrise / Sunset... you have to use long exposure shutter speed... around 1 to 2 seconds with f8 or above.. (use tripod)
normal usage flash with grp photo, you can get Nissin Di866 or Di622

i am very new to this flash thingy... can i know where can i find more info or someone can tell me how it work (in the sense of benefit to our shooting). At what point we need to use those and what is the different between expenesive (above $100) and cheap flash (below $100)

flash is not a tool that you can master within 1 day..
you need to read more on the flash here
I myself still learning on how to use flash properly..

got myself a 550D + Tamron 17-50 non-VR on X'mas day, glad to join this big & friendly family here exchanging pointers & learning from the experts here...

The standard freebies is 8GB class6 SD, bag, guide & online registration promo of a tripod + 3 more mths warranty.

I am currently attending basic DSLR course @ PSS, going for my 1st outdr lesson at botanic garden this coming sunday.

I would to ask U guys whether did U guys extend 2 more yrs warranty with Canon? I thought will be gd to have that for a pretty new Feb10 model at a reasonable price of $150.

The price is around 1.2k. Maybe other shops is selling $10-20 cheaper but then john 3:16 provides very good service to their customer.

I bought body only from ddelectronic $883 after 2% cash payment discount, but it's Canon Kiss X4 (550D but Japan version) now it's cheaper by $10 around $872 for cash payment.
you might want to check there.. but it's shop warranty.. 1 year..

when you buy dry box with hygrometer, normally it will come with a pack of silica gel.
you have to microwave the silica pack for 1 mins using low / medium temperature.

you can see the color change from purple to blue..
Blue = good
purple = already no good..

there is a thread regarding that shop, here mostly not all their item is cheap.. so need to research before buying.

electronic drybox is called DRY CABINET.. check Aipo or Digicab .. it's better to use Dry Cabinet

yes. last time i bought from carrefour Plaza sing, got free delivery if spent more than $150...
funan should be alot.. but no free delivery..
