dimensions YES. comparable.
However, due to its plastic body and grip, it still feels light to me.

what CUSTOM picture style do you use to get the most realistic colour, colour tone and saturation for our 550D? i feel the faithful and neutral too dull.

Faithful and neutral are supposed to be dull because they are intended for post processing. I use std

With the grip, it is taller than 5DMKII and you can shoot whole day still feel great with the light weight, better grip for portrait (vertical) shoot...

Hello guys. I have just bought myself a 550D with kit II lens less than 2 months ago, and I am surprised to find out today that the rubber parts on the body and lens are feeling alittle sticky like they are starting to melt. Anyone has this problem too? What do you guys do to prevent this?

I'm not surprise due to the hot weather in SG. well, do u keep yr camera in your dry cabinet ?
I only keep them in a dry box. Hopefully I can find a way to solve this, before it gets too irritataing holding a sticky camera.

think it might be the accumulation of your palm's sweat?... use a clean damp cloth wipe affected areas?..
Tried that, still alittle sticky, which is like rubber melting, though havent reach that stage of very sticky. By the way, my room is quite warm during the day becoz of the sun. Sigh.
i've the same sticky feeling too after holding onto it for some time
maybe its due to my wet palm

I also have gotten 550D for a few months though I have been lurking around ClubSnap for quite some time ;-) Had sold off my kit lens and gotten the hidden L 17-55 and boy is the lens sharp.
