can anyone recommend a decent tripod for a 550d and 17-55mm ISU... the lens seem to be heavier than the body itself...

what's your budget?
am using Manfrotto 190XPROB + TRIOPO NB2S (8kg load), bought from Cathay Photo 1 week ago (under their National Day promo).

I use lightroom 3 to watermark. The older versions of it can't watermark.

Hello guys,

Can i check with if anyone is experiencing lack issue with the video play back.

I am currently using a SANDISK EXTREME HD VIDEO CLASS 6 20MB/S card, i am recording on PAL format, but during replay of the video on my computer, i am experiencing the lack.
I mean, the voice and video shown does not syn at all. The voice appear to be faster then the video.

Can someone advise on how to solve this problem please.

Check if your PC Graphics Card supports HD playback. How old is your PC?

Hi guys,

can i check if most of CSers will go for tripod, batt grip or flash.

My understanding of tripod was to be used mainly for night scene. I had trouble holding the camera for 1 sec shoot during my HK trip. The only moment when i had really wish that i had a tripod was only during the night scene shot of The peak, other then that, there is hardly any requirement.

As for Batt grip, i am usually travelling in urban places taking portrait shots, which i feel if there is a batt grip for vertical shutter button it will be great.

Not much of an idea when flash photography will be useful.

I would like to hear some CSers whom might had experience the same issue as me.

Ops, my laptop is abt 4yrs old now. Hmm, AMD Turion I don't think it is even equal to a core 2 duo. Lol... Pardon me. I don't know that recording at Pal format is equal to HD video recording.
Initially I thought all I need is a 8gb class 6 card, hence rush to get 2 pics.
Think I will try the recording out on my SO lappie.

I'm eyeing an VanGuard CF Tripod which I saw at S'pore Expo Selling at $300+ with free ball head as a start.

Perhaps could upgrade to higher end ball head if required.

Bro cleonbus, u still here? I remember you mentioned you had a Lowepro Fastpack 200.

I am intending to pack my Canon 550D with Phottix BP-550D grip with the Sigma 30mm f1.4, 50mm f1.8 II. Maybe bring along flash and some accessories like diffuser and UV filter...

Can Fastpack 200 hold? Was considering of getting between Lowepro Fastpack 200, 250 or 300. The most minimum is must be able to fix my camera with grip and do not wish to buy something too big.

Can advice?
