Before this, i am always thinking of getting either tamron 17-50mm or canon 17-55mm, but the thought of how do i deal with my current kit lens 18-135mm never come into my mind.
Suddenly it just strike me. what shall i do with my kit lens.
It is still 2wks old.
Shall i keep it for a longer reach which cover from 50 to 135mm or shall i sell it to someone in BnS?
Can i know what will u guys do if you're in my position.
Thanks for the tip.Practice, practice, practice. Upgrading your lens will not make you a better photographer. Go out and shoot anything and everything! only then u will improve =D
Thanks. Will have a look at them.you need this: http://www.photozone.de/canon-eos/161-canon-ef-50mm-f25-macro-test-report--review
or this: http://www.photozone.de/canon-eos/162-canon-ef-s-60mm-f28-usm-macro-test-report--review
do note that EF-S lens if u upgrade to full frame camera can't be used...
Guess I have to save more to get a better lens that can support future body upgrades...no point, might else well spent a little and get a EF 100mm f/2.8 macro, no need to upgrade even though you switch to full frame. I borrowed this lens to play, quite fun, and most of the things i shoot like diecast cars models, are pretty sharp...
Oh, i thought must use to get :embrass: haha thx for enlightening me, dont flame me for not reading the manual properly -.-

the 70-200 f4 non-IS is disappointing...
Why is it so? I found this lens is very value for money (especially for those who cannot afford IS ver)

Also, call up the shops and share with us the prices. Dont be lazy when buying such an expensive item, do some research before hand.
Sorry if this offended you, not meant to.
Any reasons why? Aperture too small for you??the 70-200 f4 non-IS is disappointing...

Hey guys, was thinking of getting a 550D as my first dslr.
Want to do some price check before my purchase.
Best offer i got so far was from TK fotos.
1598 for kit 2 with freebies: tripod, blower, bag, 8gb. not sure if screen protector and filter is included or not but most likely not.
1599 for kit 2 with freebies from ms color: screen protector and filter, bag and 8gb.
Should i get it from either one of them?
Regards,
X
