how come he got the wireless remote, then there's no flash?

also 600D got wireless integrated with the camera liao ma, how come still need the wireless flash remote?

I think he uses the remote for wireless shutter release, not flash

Hello. What is your budget? I suggest sticking to kit lens if you want to learn the basics and don't wish spend too much. The Sigma isn't cheap

ya the sigma is aorund 1k. my budget is around 1.6k - 1.8k and do you suggest 60d?

if i take 600d i should take kit 2 right?

60d has a larger grip which suits large hands. It has more features but it shouldnt matter for first time users. Kit 2 will give you a more versatile lens which tend to last longer before you get bored with this lens. If u hav small hands i suggest 600d k2

Any 600D users here pair up ur body with either Tamron or Sigma 17-50 F2.8.
Appreciate any inputs as I'm considering to get either one.

50mm F1.8 is seriously a good lens for it's price. More suitable for outdoor unless indoor with lots of space.
Fast AF even in lowlight.

Will keep it unless I upgrade to Sigma 30mm F1.4.

600D and 60D price difference around 200 only last time. Now 600D drop in price the gap become bigger, need to consider more factor Go Canon showroom slowly molest both of them, see which grip you like most. They have different kit lens on the displayed cameras so you can slowly decide the range. The sales person won't come and bother you unless you slam the camera on the table for built test.

I using kit 2 and 50 1.8 last time, 50 1.8 in small room on crop body very tight.

Skip the 50mm its nothimg to crave about. Get an external flash it will open up a new world in your phtos

600D now RRP $1049 body. Can also pay $249 for an EF 75-300 USM, purchase with purchase. Seems like a good deal. Plus you also get free 8GB SD card and EOS bag. Anyone got this deal yet? (Today paper, Sep 23. Pg 64).
