Jus wan to share some pricing I've got from afew recommended camera shops earlier.
Prices are only for Canon EOS 600D Kit I
Cathay Photo Store (Pte) Ltd : SGD1290

All includes SD 8gb card + EOS bag
This is different from the above though more expensive, but i think more worth...

if i were to do my math correctly, does that mean if i get 600d kit1 via ppp, 1399 -20% would be around 1120? and for the ppp, they would accept any canon camera, even if its a lousy and really old ixus? cos the deal is too good i cant believe it. and what would be the standard gifts as everyone is saying?
and from the thread, i understand that the online warranty and get a crumpler promotion is over?
my first dslr, excited much, thanks for helping!

PPP u have to wait for 2 weeks to get the camera
The shop gave you a plastic hotshoe protector? For Canon DSLRs the inbuilt flash will not pop up as long as it senses that there is something in the hotshoe, so remove the protector before shooting.
Or just dont bother about the protector, it serves almost no purpose.
If you don't want the 55-250mm lens, then sell it to me...
Got the quote from them its $300 for early birds. You can try getting the quote from them as well
i havent. i am doing my calculations now to see whether its cheaper to buy frm alan photo ($1230) or get from ppp. i dont mind the wait, but if i get it frm the ppp, i will nt get a tripod and a eos bag right? and i will have to go buy them separately, wondering whether that would incur a similar total cost in the end...
