Hi Guys, i'm a beginner in photography. May i know is the Kit 2 Lens zooming range far enough if i intent to do bird shooting & landscape. otherwise i will have to consider to buy Kit 1 and purchase another lens for zooming purpose.

I like to suggest you to get the kit 1 instead for the IQ. It beats the 18-135 hands down from my past experience. Add the 55-250 IS for your burding purpose. For the 55-250, just get it from DD at around $270, don't buy it with the PWP under Canon, cos it still cost $459. Overall, you will be covered from 18mm to 250mm with the same price you will be paying for the kit II. May still have balance for filter.

we are asking, whether can we extend our existing camera warranty and during the promotion, u are entitle to purchase the $120 50mm len at $89.

Dont think so..For existing Canon user whose kit/body is still under warranty..You can extend it online using the same ID which u register for warranty registration.

The 50mm f/1.8 is only good for kit/body purchase make during this show period.

I redeemed my class-4 8gb, photobook, crumpler bag from Canon at Harbourfront today, after getting the camera kit II from MS yesterday.
The crumpler bag is nice, especially if you normally have camera with lens, and another lens to bring, and it has plenty of extra slots too.
And it looks nice.
