Hi Guys, Heres my share for the 5d Classic :)

:O pro.

what's your flickr can let me add you?

What's up with the lens flares? =p

thanks, they look alright eh..

I guess so, cannot complain for the price I paid for the Kenko. But it is real nice to know that AF is possible on the 5D when used with it. I believe if you use this on a bright and sunny day, it will work well. Remember to change the focusing screen to Ee-A though, cos the Ee-S is quite a pain when used with the extender :)

how much did you get it for.??

eh cheap. where from, DD is it?

Bro I snapped it up from BnS. Actually it's a "buy first decide later" kind of thingy. I am still looking at which tele lens to add, so now just borrowing telephotos from friends to try out. (Still undecided). This item not always available in BnS though :)

Oh bns. I thought u gt it new..

tele for what use? Birding?

Haha not really, mostly for portraits and some events. I not into birding, that's why I bought the Kenko for use on the odd occasions when I need since it is relatively cheap. But I gotta say the 100-400 is quite a good lens. I still thinking which version of the 70-200 to go for.....

I second your evaluation of the 100-400. It really is a great lens.

haha yeah, it's a pity I did not get to try it when I had the 7D. I believe it is an excellent match when used with the 7D and 1 series. This lens can back up as a defence weapon as well :p

That said, I know the limits of my skills, and I know I will not be able to put it to it's full potential if I were to use it with the 5D. Maybe when I get the 5DIII, this will be an option.

A few shots with the Sigma 15-30mm :

Whoah! Those photos are nice!!!

Two questions:

1. Did you use a circular polarizer for the first photo?
2. Who would put an elevator outside without protection from the elements? Is it weather proofed like the 1D series? Where is this elevator located?

Thanks!

1. No polarizer used. In fact, there is no way to attach a filter onto this lens.
2. This elevator is next to the National Museum. I assume it is weather proof, seeing that it's been there a while. No idea why they would put this there though.

Lot's of 5D Classics for sale on B&S!
