I use the LCD to check for focus accuracy as well. It does not matter to me that the shot looks different on the computer - I usually process my shots a few weeks or months after shooting.

I've no qualms about 5D's LCD, except slightly dimmer.

It's $79 before 2% less, original canon packaging. I bought from them last year before the price hike, it was only $66 back then. Guess that's the best I can find, and shops do not carry the BP511-A anymore

Thinking whether I should buy 2 pieces before they don't produce it anymore. :think: Even Evilbay also difficult to find....

Yeah I ordered 1 piece already, gonna collect it later. Guess it's pretty much the only means of getting this battery now. Decided to just get 1 more since my current one still can last about 400-500 shots.

And just to provide an update, my Ee-S focusing screen that I ordered from the ebay seller came 1 week after payment is made. It works like a charm and I am a very happy man now

Sad to say, for the 5D, none of those work. You got to pay $21.40 at CSC to get that checked. :cry:

Congrats and welcome to the 5D family. You will love this camera. Just remember, the LCD is used to check composition and histogram only, your actual pics will "wow" you
