Official 5D User Thread

I use 580EXII.

but alot of other people got use nissin or yong nuo.

I bought the Nissin Di866 as a back up, is still using the Metz60CT4.

i had used nissin di622. good basic, can tilt & swivel.

Now I used canon old 550EX....much better for my use.

1. very consistent flash output - nissin might somehow under expose sometimes.
2. Can take 3fps for 2-3 shots in succession, in which nissin is unable to do so as it underexposure on the second shot onwards.

Hmm, nissin cannot take 3 fps :think:......then I think not suitable for me liao...Maybe I go down to the shop later to try.

Haha the DOF really thin at f1.4, sometimes after recompose will "run away" .....but so far so good la

Actually your pricing is very good considering the condition n freebies thrown in

Shutter replacement for 5D is $319.

Hmm anyone knows any shop that sells the Ee-S focusing screen. Called up a few shops and CSC all don't have it. CSC tell me need to place order if I want and will take 2 months minimum to ship here from Japan :sweat:

Good luck selling your baby elevenninth! I don't think you'll have much of a problem. With the battery grip and other accessories, your price is fair.

Will you be upgrading to the new 5D after it's launched?

Better chop chop buy from him. The accessories cost at least $200 already. The EE-S focusing screen now got money also nowhere to buy :cry:

I ordered from the ebay seller above. Slightly cheaper, not much though, but don't wanna wait so long la....anyway they told me it's 2 months wait for this item yesterday when I called them.
