Thanks all for the honest inputs..

were any of these shot locally?

Care to share where you shot these?

Just a cross the pond....realistically there's nothing in this red dot that has not been captured before.

may i know how many types of post process did u use? any physical filter involved? .

Tks Bro...as bulk of the job was done in-camera. My pp workflow is simple ...just basic AWB correction, saturation/desaturation, L & C and D & B. On each image I just spent 5-10 minutes max.....but to get the idea(s)/concept may takes many night/days/weeks at times. Location recce/scouting even take longer time and that is the hardest bit.

I'm filter addict but only limited to ND, GND..to reduce the exp. contrasts. Creative filter...I give it a pass.
Hope this help..a little maybe.

the last shot #26 submerged has a less interesting composition.
Ryan

....an antidotes to the earlier shots but maybe ;)

#1 is overdone, i can imagine it more beautiful without the excessive red tones, the rest of the photos are great! love #8 colors and #9 my favorite.

Nice series!

fantastic set bro...hands down!!!

great series here. inspires me.

7 - loved how u totally smooth out the water.
11 - my fav.

yea like he said very very magical and good skills!

great shots. my fav is #21:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

wow...did not expect the generally positive response..really appreciates the honesty/comments.

thanks..Bro....I guess you are not alone 'cos I'm really struggling with this one and nothing seem right. It was by far the toughest exposure...backlight and burst of sun rays are "explosive" mix.

tks Bro...glad you like it. If i recalled correctly...#7 was 10 minutes exposure.

hello kae, how have you been? :)

i don't know, i found this set less inspiring than the first you posted, probably because shorter span of time? there are many good shots here, don't get me wrong, but i know you have high standards..

i have seen #9 before, love it. #7, #12, #15 also tend to stand out for me.

the light in #3 is absolutely magical, but somehow the composition is a tad too cluttered for me, far too much for the eye to take in at once. maybe if it was printed big. #4, i find the foreground very lacklustre. suppose you were constrained by the conditions but it looks very haphazard, like a shot you grabbed just to justify being there.

#5 is very nice, but a wee bit oversharpened for the foreground. not so sure about #10, the red is really too red for me for the thing going underneath water, and a higher perspective might do wonders for this picture, the transition is too abrupt for comfort. love the sky in #11, but somehow the foreground doesn't fit in here. variations of #15 like #16 to #18 i find not so effective. less efficient use of space and all that. for #19 (afterglow fun shot) have you considered going in close for just a few of those rods? sometimes less is more. you seem to advocate using a wide angle for every scene, and that's fine but sometimes the details are the things that sing. same for #20, just the lighthouse alone, with a long exposure to smooth out the water, or just one of those funny structures in the foreground, i felt, might have been more effective.

nice work anyways, love your stuff always. :)

great efforts are worth the appreciations and i am loving them ....
they are impressive..

For #1, I think it could do with a lighter shade of green and red on the island to make it blend into the picture a bit more...

But otherwise a very nice series of shots... ;)

Stunning Pictures... and nicely titled.

Thanks for Sharing...

Awesome photos, everybody loves these. I can't pick a favourite I just like them all. Maybe what I'd like to see are some frames and captions, would be interesting to see how you titled them (could explain your inspirations behind them).

Oh I'm getting some filters too yeehaa!

Wow. Amazing! Wonderful lighting and well excuted.

I like number 8 best! Simple yet glowing lighting. How was the lighting for that photo? :)

Keep them coming!
