[Numnumball] Urbanscapes/Ruralscapes in SG

Dear NMB, I used two hours to go through all your photos. Really great! Learn a lot.
I am working at haveloock road. Just a few blocks away from your place. hope can see you someday and shoot together, maybe start from the Alkaff Bridge. :)

prefer a 4:3 crop chopping off all of the left. right now this is a very centred composition which really looks better without the left.

that tree on the top right can serve as a counterpoint to the rock anchoring the scene.

very nice colors, wish i had gone with you guys, but don't think could make it to work in time..

just a wee bit more detail (lift up shadows by 1% with shadows/highlights tool) in the shadows should do the trick nicely.

btw, you can use liquify to ensure that your reflections match what is on top, right now because you have tilted your camera downwards, the tree reflection seems out of sync. :)

Wk, tks fr dropping by bro. Agreed on the compositional apsect and positioning of the rock as an anchoring element towards the direction of light..

ooo..this is good - sinisterly artistic(pardon the english). Saw the colored version.. and imagined how b/w will look. The IR effect is even nicer.

Btw, i saw from the map its located near sime road which is quite far from the macritchie carpark. Not sure if there is an alternative route without bashing thru too much forestry?
