Oh.. Used 135DCf2 @ f2 - 2.8 for most of the shots... Actually if u are famaliar with that place, u still can make out where it is.. hee ;)

Hi Numnumball, what is the maximum aperture for your 135mm lens ? is it a prime lens, the background is so bokeh-ly nice ...f2 is already very nice.

Need your advice, comparing 50mm, 80mm or 135mm, which one is better for portrait ?

Its called 135 DC/f2. Widest aperture is f/2.

Yes its a prime lens designed for FX.

Here

Seeing that ur on DX format and given that u need to alter ur FOV while factoring the 1.5X crop

i recommend either 50 or 85 for portraiture work.. (75 or 127.5 respectively when mounted on DX)

There's no 80mm prime AFAIK..

135 might be too "long" for ur liking.

great pics, colours , and broken. The 135 f2 was never made for new Digital F bodies. it was from the film era.

I'd better not let my wife see this thread.

My photo ratio is something like this...

daughter : wife = 30 : 1

although, overall, it's probably like this...

everything else : me = 1000 : 1

:bsmilie:
