Bro, i wanna shoot with u one day leh.. we arrange smeday smetime smewhere ok?

Haha, my shooting trip very impromptu. I see weather before i move out. :)

Personally, i prefer to enjoy the sunrise/sunset with music while shooting.

That's why i usually shoot alone or with a friend who live nearby me. :)

And i don't talk to him when i shoot.

So ya, paiseh... :embrass:

But i am not saying, it is not possible to meet up in future. :)

oh ok.. no prob.. can always meet up oneday.. exchanged pointers.. look forward to more of ur works yah..

But Yapster, wont matrix metering take into the account of the entire frame? including the denser portion of the GND...? in that case, we might get partial compensation..

actually, i don't know, i always use matrix or centre weighted.

i think spot will work fine, but as yapster has mentioned, entire scene is entire scene.. after a while when the matrix/centreweighted metering gets fooled you will know exactly what sort of situations cause it. in landscapes, usually these situations do not apply (e.g. shooting backlit human portraits with blown out background result in mind).

Wah WK.. paiseh..paiseh.. saw this reply late.. :sweatsm::sweatsm:

Was discussing with Woon Lay yesterday abt the usage of GNDs at the chicken rice stall then this come into mind..Went digging this up..Yup, have to agree with u. Will certainly try matrix /center gg fw.. like what we concluded.. the least we want to avoid (which is a strong nono..) is ur foreground to be brighter than background (where the light source is).. :)
