there is 2 type of glass for zeiss currently. one is the legendary west germany and the other is the latest ZE or ZF lens.

The latest edition is very sharp due to its coating etc..... but overall i still prefer the west germany for value purposes.

i use to own the voight before changing to leica and now contax zeiss for the F2. you can never get that effect. try it. i use it for multi purpose lens for now
