Hi, i got this friend who work in this Nuitrend International....its has something to do with network marketing or MLM. Many people i know claimed that it changes their life and money is real easy as long as we are willing to learn and put in effort.

but when i ask them wat is it, they insisted me to go to the company to show me...saying that by going there, i am showing i am sincere.

Anyone has any idea wat is all abt Network marketing and MLM?? Is money realli so easy to learn? wat on earth is it??

I went one before...MLM is works by building your own network of networkers.
Eg. You train 10, the 10 trains another 10 each, so the 100 trains another 10 each and you get 1000 by then. So you get a commission from every person in your network and whoever is linked to you belongs in your network. This way, you keep your network expanding up to a point you just sit back relax and count the money rolling in.

I have been to a few seminars and all of them give you the same **** story. Not even sure if this is going to incur some lawsuit or not since they can't even confirm with me if I need to sell any products or not.

In all, mess around with this at your own peril.

I do believe network marketing will work. but by positioning it as a way to earn easy money, I think it's not correct. from the people I know who made it thru, they sure went thru it tough.

I think Bel-Air is also another MLM, too(or maybe not). :D Heard it from a couple of friends.

You are right.

They have to sell the story again and again cause even the best product can only go so far. You can only use so much, eat so much, why would you want to stock up to years of supply?

If you are the FIRST few to be in, being on top of the scheme will eventually get you the money as long as you believe and sell the story. There are a few persistent ones who alway starts MLM, or rotate among themselves to head the new pyramid. That's how they make the $20k - 50k monthly.

They stay legal by ALWAYS stressing that theirs is the best product in the world and that you are the EARLY, and you have to join now. When you look around you, there's like 100 of the dazed audience being fed the same mambo, some will bite. As long as people are biting they will make the money.

When the markets saturates, the top level people start looking for new MLM products and new stories to tell, then bring along their whole line downwards and tell them to repeat what they have done. IT WORKS. Everybody down the line just join and something, everybody makes money. Of course the top line makes the most.

All the above works only if people are greedy. Now, before you say "YES I can do it!" Ask yourself "are you high on that pyramid?" if yes, than you WILL make the money. If not, maybe you will make some money. Its a little like religion, you CANNOT stop believing, cause if you do, there is really nothing else...

That said, some MLM do really have great products and I still use them, buys them for friends, relatives, parents. I realised the above and stopped feeding greed to my loved ones long ago....

BTW, I know a couple of people who actually made millions off MLMs.

One of them had cancer, recovered and sold even more MLM products by using his tragic stories, to encourage, uplift people. A lot of low esteem people are vulnerable to such teary stories. So, if you have tragic stories like being abused, ugly, fat, dumb, even bankrupt for whatever stupid reasons, or something similar, you can exploit them to your advantage. Especially if you remain genuine and the story stays the same, you should be ok $$$.

Another make so much money he emigrated to Canada with his family. There he starts another MLM among the local chinese there. After he sold his current chain of MLM for a few millions to his partner. Musical chairs yeh?? Wonders who gets to hold the baby when someone starts complaining they they cannot make money or filled up his whole house with the products.

Now you know why I deserved to be poor.

I have been to 2 or 3 such seminar, "requested" by friends.

You can call it MLM, Network marketing or direct marketing.
There are so many around in Singapore, selling from mattresses, cosmetics to health product, you name it you got it.

It is a legal way of selling as long as it is a legal product. If you are only selling a membership, then it is considered pyramid selling.

Imagine you are at the top and you recruit 10 person to join you, supposedly every of your downline recruit 10 person each, by the 10 level you should get more than 10 billion, which is impossible( there are estimately 5-6 billion Earthlings)

If you join, you will certainly get your family, friends, neighbours. Then after your direct contact dwindles, you'll need to keep looking for other people. UNLESS you have a very hardworking downline, so you have to motivate them as well by setting a good example. Some of the MLM require you to reach a sales target in order to draw commission from your downline, most likely you have to purchase the products too, to know how good it works.

The explanation can go on and on, the bottom line, you have to ask yourself, are you able to convince yourself 1st. If not you will not be able to sell the idea or let alone the product to others. Its is never easy $$$. Its only easy if you know your product really can make a difference to your
customer quality of life!

:what: :o :)

in short, i have to be a salesman, helping my top sell thing and at the same time, i have to look for ppl to join me and help me sell thing.

It seems like easy money if u have the talent to be a salesman.....

sometimes, you can learn a lot about yourself from it, though you may not earn anything. i went this way in the past. now? i'm not affliated to any as a customer or anything - unless you consider Canon as one... :bsmilie:

this is actually a wrong perception. you are not suppose to work for or helping anyone to sell, neither are you suppose to look for anyone to work for you.

if anyone work this way, i dun see any reason for the person to make it in this industry.

yes, i agree that in terms of personal development, it's going to be rewarding as well.

Just an advice to you. Before you decide to work with any network marketing company, decide for yourself if you are willing to put in the extra effort besides your current occupation. only if you are willing to put in effort, then you won't waste your time and your mentor's time.

Also choose a good company and mentor to work with. You won't want to spend your time and effort to work with one that doesn't have good practices and track records.
