Gildow,
do you mean the master of manual focus, Dr Whyzzzzz?
dun worry lar, he in tioman with a group of undergrads babes in bikinis now... from NTU i think... a good reason why I am considering getting a DM now....
whyzzz
saw your pics at the link..
the pgyme seahorse was well taken and what lens did you use for your marco?without strobe, using internal flash, my marco pic turn up to be darker
at the lower end as i went nearer to the object... so what do you suggest?
do marco, can i use internal flash? if no flash fired, there will not be any colour. all greenish as i posted above. strobe too ex... any rental available?
sigh..
first thing to take good macro shots is to learn how to spell MACRO correctly. so there... it's MACRO not MARCO.
your subject is darker probably because the flash is blocked by the lens port on the housing. do you usually get a dark cresent like shadow at the botton of your pics when shooting closeups?
if so, get a strobe..... if not , get a strobe.... hell! just get a strobe for fun! Give some respect to the subject you are taking, give him some colour~!
get the epoque or sunpac if you are on a tight budget. if not, you might want to try some WB magic.
