NP-400 battery

Maybe because im comparing with A300's battery, not 7D's battery.

Just checked, "shipping is by AirMail by Hong Kong post. 1-3 weeks to most country".
To Singapore should be pretty fast. Will see.

The order arrived today. Happy with the battery, the battery is fully charged, tested in the 7D, it is working fine.

Order Placed at Apr 23 night time (thursday)
Battery arrive at May 5. (tuesday)
Total elapse days: 12.
In between has on day public holiday and 2 x Sunday.
It shipped by Hong Kong AirMail.

edit: I just realised RedDotPhoto (user) is selling in his shop... http://reddotphoto.com.sg/ecommerce/cat_viewproducts.php?catid=8.1 $18 each.. dunno whether is more expensive anot? btw my friend told me all Li-ion should have at least 3 to 6 mths warranty due to the level of battery level depletion in Li-ion. Dunno whether RedDotphoto has such warranty...

for 2xNP-400, I pay SGD$33.19. Wait for 12 days if you want to save SGD$2.81.
I don't know about reddotphoto have such battery, or else I will have order locally, not need to wait .

I am using the old Konica Minolta charger and camera, not Sony charger.

A little update here. Sent my lens for cleanning on wed. Checked the price for NP400. Sony SC quoted $65. very expansive... think will go for Phottix.

An update here too.. I order the Phottix batteries on ebay too.. They just arrived yesterday. They were pre-charged however, the instruction was to charge them first before use. So far haven't deplete yet as only tested some shots...

I sent my km24-105 for cleaning. There are some fungus. Sony SC charge $64 for general cleaning. However, there are fungus at inner element which cant be clean. They qoate me >$200 for lens replacement. Whole process took about 7 days.\

What do you mean more power? The capacity is higher you mean? I.e. higher mAh number?

The NP400 can be used on the Dynax 5D/7D and K10 also as they are almost identical. If you're getting the Pentax original batt is the same as getting the KM batt original.

I was at OP to look for a 3rd party charger. They had a few 3rd party NP400s also. Price I couldn't remember. It had very much higher rating but we all know how true is the rating.

the mAh number is bigger, but i forgot how much. and in real use it really does have much longer power. i use 1 NP400, and two pentax battery.
