I just got DVD hard disk recorder.
Expect to record some shows off the TV.
I may want to save some good Japan Hour or Nat Geo documentaries to DVD RW.
But I want to edit out the periodic annoying lengthy advertisements.
Can anyone recommend a cheap easy to use video editing software.
Need not be free (as some just want you to buy after 30 day period) and some got so many "unavailable features" that are only unlocked for your use in the paid version.
Thanks.

Microsoft Windows Movie Maker... But beware... you need some patiences on this...

Only thing to look out for that the format is compatible. Some of this HD recording uses non standard formats. I have a Pioneer that allows me to so simple cuts on the clips itself. Check your recorder's manual.
