Lol. A-100 has only been launched for a few months. There are already ppl selling it. It tells you something about the camera / system. Don't you think so?

Same with the D40 and the Canon 400D. Plus, there are many reasons for selling a cam, such as financial problems.

It happen on all system too. Some may buy it to try it, and finally they found it is not mean for them, and sell it.

i went through the stuffs sold from the buy/sell camera threads and i think D70s is really out of my budget... is there a big diff b/w d70 and d70s because the former seems to be sold at a cheaper price (2nd hand) than the latter..

i'm leaning more towards 350d/10D or D50 now... how is d50 compared to 350d?

Hi just to share my info i saw there is still abt 5 sets of D50kit selling at penisula plaza , cant rmb the shop name , the date i saw is 03/02/07 .

and another thing, (ok this might sound noob-ish but pls bear with me LOL) how long does a dSLR normally last? I know it's kind of a subjective question but say if I were to get a 2 and 1/2 year old D10, I wouldn't want it to just last a year and then start to spoil. hahaha..

Nah, the lack of stock might mean a replacment is coming soon? Anyway, get the Canon 350D or 400D, you won't regret it.

Look here for the rough estimate of prices and the shops that you may want to call up to enquire. Saves a bit of leg work going from shop to shop.

Since you already have some experience with a SLR, I would recommend that you go for a 2nd hand 10D. You'll appreciate the better built and despite its age, is still a very capable camera.

If you are able to shop online, you can buy the Pentax K110D with kit lens around US$450 new with warranty. Even factoring in GST and shipping, that works out to about S$800!

Canon 10D will be fine wif the tight budget u have now. Get it now then next time can upgrade again.

my advice is to go to the shop. try both see which u like. performace is almost the same. no definite answer which is better. maybe u can see which one u find handles better.
