"Noise" on A65

To be honest, it doesn't matter you know or not or can explain it elaborately. Its not the end of the world. Just keep shooting .

But to know makes you look smarter than looking dumb when you have no idea what the heck you're using

No, he isn't. He genuinely doesn't know, and it's thanks to us that now he does.

You, on the other hand, who advocates shooting without knowing your camera well, is one. If you don't understand what your camera can and cannot do, then you can't harness its full potential.

And really, for you who went around shooting for your blog to find out more about your A77, is now telling others not to do the same? Not to understand their gear but just shoot? May i ask what's the use in knowing photography but not knowing your own gear.

When people ask you about your system, what will you tell them, then? "A camera is a tool to create images. I don't care how it works" or "the Translucent Mirror on the A77 gives me full time AF even when shooting movies blah blah blah" and go on to show how you use it. Which will you do, honestly?

Ignorance is not bliss and even if you can't explain it elaborately, which all of us here aren't doing, at least you understand and can explain in simple terms like us. And if how we explain is elaborate to you, you need to brush up on your english

I think you seriously need to go back, calm down and read properly before replying others.

Yeah she should. Also to read & understand better. Haha.

Alternatively, OP could go to Menu -> Setup -> Live View Display -> and change it to "Setting Effect OFF," which would eliminate noise (and most everything else ;p ) in the EVF in low light shooting situations. I wouldn't recommend that setting for stopping down with manual lenses, though... ;) (or for backlit subject matter, or for closeups in natural light, etc.).

That "noise" in the EVF is a negligible price to pay for being able to see the effect one's settings will have before one presses the shutter button.

Plus the "seeing in the dark" benefit you get as well.

I think you need to understand what you typed out because you don't see the meaning of your own words.
