Today I can cry liao... The reciept no. for these cleaning kit is 18878. Today 4D 3rd prize is 8887. IF only got buy ibet, all cleaning kits can give free liao:bsmilie: Sigh no luck means no luck

Must say that longko is one of the nicest dudes I've met in this life, if the world had more longkos (ok, the person, not the thing) it would definitely be a better one.
Noticed a bit of dust in my last few photos, so I cleaned, did a slightly botched job and then now there's a bit of staining, but I think it's no issue. Can be settled by Pentax if I send in for servicing later in the year right? =D

Thanks. I just try to do what I can. Why is there stain? If used correctly, I believe the cleaning kit can remove simple stain. For your case need to send OP liao, they'll need send back China. I forgot to remind you that you should not drag and clean, but I believe you know that

Haha, I think maybe right before I fly I just drop by local Pentax and let them do it or something and just suck thumb and pay la.. =D Where is the Pentax Service Centre here anyways? Someone mentioned it was "way east", hehe.

Hmm.. Why your shot like the one Nomoney send me. He also like cannot get rid of some dust. His is also OP set. Does those stain always stay at same area? Could it be the wall stain?

If you look at the sensor do you see any stain or dust? could it be on back or rear of lens?

Don't worry too much about it dude, I'll be getting sensor swabs soon, that should solve the problem. =)

I can always go to the North, running out of places to shoot over in the East, and I've done City Hall until I'm sick, but I'm not yet done, but I'm tired of shooting buildings. =DI am here guys! Hoho... I will be getting the swab soon. But now CP got no stock

Update: Was doing some reading up, and hey-ho, Lenspen can be used to clean sensor too! So gung-ho me went to try to use lenspen, since I bought some funny pack with 4, and haven't used one, now only left one stain! =) So can be removed! =) The one stain also not very obvious, since I always shoot at around F/11 to F/13. Need to be F/22 then it becomes obvious at close range. Far range less obvious, so no issue.
And also, it seems like the dust was there -before- I used the kit, I went to check out all my older pics around that spot, there used to be more! Just that this one is more stubborn, seems to be what they call "welded dust". =) Quite likely since Singapore is humid.
Lenspen? How much does it cost? I already ordered the swab kit. Will keep you updated after the use of the kit. Hope this time my sensor can be better.

There is a supposed sensor version. Google Sensorklear. Pretty good but also doesn't promise much in the way of removing welded dust, i.e. dust that has actually adhered to the filter over the CCD (that's what you're cleaning, not the sensor proper) due to moisture.
Oh, the price varies, so I'm not sure. About $25 for 2 big 1 small 1 mini, that was for mine, I think. IIRC.
