NO IT Show in JUNE?

Jus visited Suntec's n Expo's website n realised tt they dun hv any PC/IT shows lined up ...

Anyone got any ideas?

Do they have offers for camera at PC Show? Or is it better to just not wait for it?

they will have alot of freebies packaged together, good for newbies who have nothing to start with.

Most camera stores offer a far better price. Usually the bundles included in IT shows are not what you really want. Maybe slower CF cards? Cheap tripod? You get the vibe?

I believe you would not want to mount your D300 on a cheap tripod isn't it? My cheap tripod($40) is shaky when I mount my set up that is about 1kg on it.

I guess it's best to get from the shop even there is less or no free gifts, since the price you paid during the IT show includes the free gifts.

Freebies given during the fairs or promo is often lower grade items like : slower card, cheap tripod, brandless filters which is mostly unwanted items. approached the shop, they usually offer better in pricing.

S$2288 for Nikon D300 Body, comes with 1 year Nikon warranty. But I bought some other stuff as well (the price S$2288 was agreed after I negotiated on getting lens), such as filters and camera bag. Maybe I got brandless filters, I dunno. I just got one they recommended.

i am using one laptop. so far so gd. use 2 yrs, have some minor sign of paintwork hairline cracks. but no issue. i am getting what i pay for.
