Is anyone interested to go to the old dilapiated Punggol house after the sunset shooting? I;m preferring to the one located abt 200meters away from Punngol MRT Station. I think it'll be nice to do some night shootings of the old house. Hope it's not haunted as rumors have it. Anyone to clarify on this point?

i believe you're referring to Matilda House



it's not haunted, it's gazetted for conservation under URA, will be interesting to do night shots ... but i might not be free :sweat:

Thanks Yong Qin. That's a nice pano shot of the Matilda House. Thought it's fenced up, isn't it? Maybe I can't see it clearly based on yr picture and besides I have not been there for a while now. Will the URA be starting any development on the house? Hopefully the house will be sitting there for another long time.

the new road's construction is almost done, some 70m to 80m away from the house, but recently there have been bulldozers and other construction vehicles moving around the house.

Thanks alot for the info.

Since they are conserved by URA, hopefully they do not have plans to start developing the old house into something else. Guess I'll have to act fast before any inconvenience occurs.
