This is a 10 shot panorama of single shots. The stitched image was 648MB. Bad sky that night, plus very windy. Some minor tweaking in raw (learned my lesson about being too pushy in highlight correction) and just stitch and sharpen.

Not the first time I shot at Jurong East but quite intrigued by the sudden development of the area especially how malls are coming up and the building of the first hotel in the area.

Gone for something simple, was late for sunset and seeing the nice clouds, I only reached slightly late as I was (like many of us) having reunion dinner.

Wanted to do this scene since I saw Stefan's take about a year ago, coincidentally enough, he was on the same block this evening! Didn't like the resulting stitch and went about trying something new to fix the distortions of buildings. Ended up with some problems and had to learn another thing to fix it. Most of the work went into fixing distortion, so pretty much kept things as they were except some brightening and fixing of white balance.

Held off going to this area for a year as I was not confident of doing panorama, especially due to the sheer number of lines. Far from the best of attempts but will try more this year!

Overall, still not satisfied, but lets see what the next attempt yields.

Been wanting to take the same every time I waited for train at JE, saw the "curved" shape block facing right in the centre of the rails intersecting.
