Hi guys,
jus an update, the festival is over. but this coming saturday 08-oct-2011 we will have a major event at 70 Sengkang West Ave, S'pore 797651. Near LRT Fernvale. JALAN KAYU
this will be the last year at eunos mrt open field. our 'geylang serai temple' is ready to move in this saturday. i'm a member there and like to share this info with brothers here.
we will be schedule to leave eunos mrt by 4-5pm will reach 7pm at new temple. there will be a small fireworks display and a small vegetarian food festival of 8 to 10 stalls there.

Just went to Hougang for the night send off.
Very happening.....

Was recording for more than 10mins suddenly encountered "Card Access Error". The movie was not saved. ={
Perhaps next time I should split into different parts.

No worries, this Saturday 7pm there is the biggest one at Eunos.
All colorful buses from all the kiu ong yiah temples will be there because Eunos is moving into a new temple at Seng Kang.

I'm sure it will be the most happening one.

i went to Eunos yday.. too bad there is no medium.. sian ah!!!!

this sat afternoon also got leh i heard.. they say they moving temple, so got some event at 1pm i think..

other than this sat evening, any more events in future? it is eye opening for me..

saturday will be an eye opening becoz instead of all the yellow ribbons tying around around sedan, we will be using 'red'

But I think there should be more than one festival for these temples right?

This is the only yearly event encouraged by our sg government. The biggest and most attended.
And this is also the only event whereby the Cisco escort permit is granted.

For those who miss the previous week, this Sat is your last chance else is next year 2012 already

All this temple only have 1 event per year. My dad is one of the pioneers in feng shan gong defu lane. They practice the same too.

yup this is my 7th year

event at new temple will start around 5pm.
but we will move out from eunos at 7pm.
those without transport can wait at new temple.
if driving can come down eunos. we starting 3pm at eunos. there will be ceremonies and lion dance at eunos.

oh for me, this was a traditional in my family pass down from grand father to father.
my brother and cousin including me started in feng shan gong defu lane since young. i still join them for invitation as they are always 1 week earlier.

Wah...so tomorrow I will see many fellow shooters at the new temple.
@crow, is all the colorful lorries be at Eunos n move out as well ?
I am driving but not sure if I can make in time at new temple due to parking.
If I wear full white, can hop on your lorry a not ?

huhsimi, sorry need to be in uniform to be in lorry. now last min i cant get extra uniform. maybe next year i prepare extra 5 sets uniform for brother who interested here.
there will be about 20 'color lorry' tmr. moving out with us around 4 plus in veri slow speed. schedule to reach jalan kayu 6plus.
i using own transport also, becoz i stay hougang so can go home straight haha.
